Message No more BS tickets 4 me. Well those of you who remember this post

will recall that I got hasseled for a bunch of _____. Anyway, today I had my day in court...

I told the dumb bitch of a cop I would take the stupid _____ tickets to court (and win), and I did.....

I had 4 tickets against me

1). tinted windows
2). no front license plate
3). no current insurance card
4). "loud dual modified exhaust"

The first 3 were dismissed a couple of months ago (I zipped tied my front license plate on....), didn't touch the tinting (it is HARDLY noticable, cop said don't worry about it), and showed them my insurance card (almost a $700 fine if you are actually convicted....should ALWAYS have insurance though).

So today I actually went to court on just the exhuast portion ($87 fine, but money wasn't the point). It was FUNNY.....

The cop started out saying how she remembered the event perfectly, and how hostile I was, and how out of complaince I was, etc etc... Then she starts out saying that she spotted me driving my WHITE 300ZX, and kept going on about my WHITE 300ZX... Well after she finally finished, I asked her that it was a WHITE 300ZX, she replied yes yes, that is what she wrote, blah blah blah. I then stated that I have never owned a white car, and that even her report stated a black 300ZX..... She argued, then re-read her report and shut up... But that was not my case at all, but still funny as hell.

The main thrust of my arguement was that the car is a 91 w/ a 155k miles on it. At some point you have to put an exhuast on, and that factory exhausts are not really available any more (maybe a stretch on the truth..). I simply took the car in to a good exhaust shop and had them put the exhaust on. I was very calm during the entire process (even though I was REALLY trying not to laugh @ the cop about the white 300)....

Eventually the judge agreed w/ me, and the cop was PISSED :)

I smiled (and trying not to the laugh @ the cop that was PISSED), told the judge thank you, and smiled and told the cop to have a wonderful day... :)

So that is that. Life is good in SoCal.

chris.

BTW, all that flamed me last time,

Have a nice day too :0)
